The greatest movements in our life are hidden. No one will ever see just when that vice changed into virtue. No one will ever know what laid on a hurting heart during that conversation that seemed far away, because no one knows the struggles and crosses that are carried by each person. No one will feel the sweet movements of this sweet one moving inside, full of life, as we walk down the street and eyes that seem so piercing look on and then speak in words, "?Todos son tuytos?" But, not everything needs to be known on the outside. When we cry, He's there. When we smile and our soul dances in delight as we watch the fruits of our married love play, take care of one another, dance, and kiss hurting siblings, He sees. When there are slights, rejections, false assumptions, cruel words, spite, and boxing in, He sees. He even felt it, felt it all. But, He still says, "I leave you My peace." Thank you, Lord, for the moments when you raise us up and hold our chin up and say, "You're Mine."

I love you
I was waiting for so long
For a miracle to come
Everyone told me to be strong
Hold on and don't shed a tear
Through the darkness and good times
I knew I'd make it through
And the world thought I'd had it all
But I was waiting for you
[Pre-CHORUS:]
Hush now I see a light in the sky
Oh it's almost blinding me
I can't believe I've been touched by an angel with love
Let the rain come down and wash away my tears
Let it fill my soul and drown my fears
Let it shatter the walls for a new sun
A new day has come
When it was dark now there's light
Where there was pain now's there's joy
Where there was weakness I found my strength
All in the eyes of a boy
[Pre-CHORUS]
[CHORUS x2]
Hush now I see a light in your eyes
All in the eyes of a boy
I can't believe I've been touched by an angel with love [x2]

Glimpses
Life continues onward, but to stop and take appreciative glimpses at the little moments is so important. And, I am grateful for what we have. Being with our children, instructing them and living side by side them in these moments of life, are amazing. To our five-some: Thank you for teaching us SO much.

So many things to say and journal, but we are living in the present moment, and time is fleeting
.....the little moments, though, are the dearest, and sometimes pictures of our days just have to do. St. Therese, saint of the little things that are so sweet and refreshing, pray for us!

It's that you give with GREAT love
Yesterday Madge ran outside to get something. She kept it hidden as she went very quickly into the kitchen to get something from their dish cabinet and then made a quick dash for the school room and closed the door. Five or ten minutes later she emerged, and Pita did as well with two sweet gifts: a card from Pita, and flowers from Madge (Pita also gathered flowers from outside at another point and gave me a sweet bouquet. Peach, you really are the Lupine Lady, and we love you so much!) Below is a beautiful image of Maddy's sweet gift:
This gift of hers made me think how humble children are. If Maddy had asked me for a beautiful vase, she would have been spoiling her surprise, so instead, she made something even more beautiful: a "vase," covered with tissue... beneath the tissue was a baby bottle. This also made me think that sometimes what we have to offer God is not much, at least in our eyes, but in His, it is perfect, because we did it with love. Thank you, Madge, for teaching me every single day about great love in small things. Your humility and vulnerability amaze me. Thank you, Lord, for letting us care for Your children every day.

Thankful...
as November draws to a close today, our hearts have just begun to learn again what it means to plant seeds of gratitude, every single day. But, I think about all that I am grateful for and it all begins here at home. I am thankful for quiet moments with Our Lord when I can just lean into Him and be. I am thankful for one giving husband who is out grocery shopping right now with three big helpers in-tow, while my other gift of gratitude, Sweet Penelope, nestles in on my lap.

Thankful for...
...Good times!
This was a favorite for me and my siblings, Aunty Lou, Uncle Matt, and Aunt Kate-- with Mimi and Papa's help too!-- to do growing up... Let the GOOD traditions continue. What fun!
