On Sunday before Mass, Madge asked if we could go to Ikea for breakfast after church. Before we even had a chance to respond, Pita joined in the chorus. With head tilted to one side, she politely asked with a questioning tone, "ee-ah?". (It's probably fortunate that she can't say the word properly, otherwise people in the pews around us would've been thinking about a different place during the homily.)It cracked us up. Pita has a vocab of ~50 words and yet Ikea (ee-ah) is one of them! We had to go after Mass for a 4th of July breakfast at Ee-ah: so traditions begin.
