What a beautiful start to the Christmas Season... time with friends, an early birthday celebration with an old friend and yumm(L)y Lava cakes, a singing of Happy Baptismal Birthday to our sweet Penny (Dec. 22), a puppy rescue and return, a beautiful Bethelehem Walk (First Year: Lottie was Baby Jesus at 2 weeks old, with our family surrounding her in the stable; Second Year: Netmakers; Third Year: Breadmakers.), violin performances, Advent cookie exchange, Christmas visits, a dear Grandma entering eternity, a new baby kicking inside, blessings....a sweet Mom praying for us in eternity and feeling her presence like never before (getting ready for Advent and receiving her note and Advent calendar from the attic... the veil between here and there is so thin); praying for a missed-Grandpa who would have turned 99 on Christmas day.
Gratitude.....candles, CHristmas music on Christmas eve onwards, happy smells, God's gifts in the daily duties.
Either we learn to find our Lord in ordinary, everyday life, or else we shall never find Him.(Saint JosemarÃa)
