Our sweet St. Nicholas baby is 2! "Lottie," Immaculata Claudia Mercy turns the big two... and two years ago we put our our shoes, but St. Nicholas could not arrive in the halls and deliver the treats to 16 shoes in the hallway, because a baby was being born at hme at 5:36am. Sweet Lottie, you arw our "silly face girl," our "jumper," our baby-lover and bouncer as you so tenderly bounce a little Playmobil Baby Jesus on our chest, as you soothe Him... Your birthday was wonderful as you ate a Boston Creme donut, opened your St. Nick's treats and Where's Waldo card, left in your shoe at the request of your sweet brother's note to St. Nick, went to Mass, then got a blessing from Fr. M. You took a nap, visited the Little Sisters of the Poor for St. Nicholas Day event where everyone sang Happy Birthday to you, and then enjoyed a yummy homemade Mexican dinner at home, before eating up a most-delicious homemade carrot cake made y your big sisters.... you received birthday messages throughout the day and birthday gifts into the week from Papa with your purse and book. You and your sister even received a special castle from your Grandparents. You are blessed, but we are blessed even more by your precious life. We love you.
