On Monday, April 12, our little guy will have his 26 week birthday. Two more weeks till he begins the third trimester. Last night as Mares and I were watching Julie and Julia, we would stop and feel him moving around. In Mares' stomach, little protrusions were evident from time to time and movement was very acute.
I am so proud of Mares. She has stayed in tip-top shape throughout this pregnancy--as with the last two. We've been going out for family jogs (thank God for the double running stroller) every evening this week. She keeps up with the little girls as quick as ever. (I'll have to post some pregnancy pics soon.)
Also on the note of pregnancy, medical experts have shown that babies between 16 and 19 weeks hear their mothers' voices and feel stomach touches. Maddy and Pita have been going up to Mares' belly and talking to the baby. Madge says some really cute stuff. Pita, in her own cute way, mumbles to the baby and gives a kiss.
We can't wait to see you, Little Guy, and shower you with our love.
