Advent, 2017... Living

Life continues forward and we are living here in the present moment. Pausing, in some ways on updates in our journal. But, to look at the photos that are shot on a daily basis, pretty much, tells another story: life is lively! On Tuesday we drove to the city for confession at the Basilica, followed by a visit to the Little Sisters of the Poor, where Maddy, Pita and Caleb played violin for the residents and Sisters. Following there, and some snacks from a picnic-cooler in the car, we drove to say goodbye to an old boss who is nearing retirement. Lunch was eaten from our "picnic," while driving in the car, then car-naps at Haines Pointe, before heading to the Botanical Gardens for the train display, then to the Kennedy Center to hear the Air Force Ensemble, before heading to the National Christmas Tree and Nativity Scence.
Full day, like each day... can't imagine life any differently.

As the days go on I know we can see better that to where in this world we are headed does not matter, but that our answer forever be "Yes." "Fiat, so that we can get where we are really meant to be. And there, we will DANCE, and that joy is found in each and every day...in the present moment, regardless of circumstances!

Love

The other day I sat with our little ones at our school room table and enjoyed the "rainbow moments" of the day. I once read that it is important to take those rainbows, be grateful for them, and to give thanks, because there will be times when there are days and days that seems to have few rainbows. But, there are many, and looking into our four little treasures' eyes each day and seeings God's love look back: that is one huge rainbow. Thank you, Lord.
